Construction of Werdi Budaya, the venue for
the Bali Arts Festival, began on 1969 and was completed on 1973. You can not miss
the building itself because of its tower and its border of palm trees. The complex
area covers about 5 hectares consist of many Balinese-style buildings.
Bali
comes alive between on June-July when the Bali Arts Festival held every years.
Artists of all ages will meet for a month to display booth classical and modern
arts.
The Festival has been colorful activities for the community in Bali
since June 1979. It provides the perfect opportunity to prove that it is possible
to preserve and develop this part of Bali's valuable heritage. |
