Amandari's open air lobby
was designed after a wantilan, or village meeting place, with coconut wood posts and a floor of cool Javanese marble alternating with local volcanic stone. Teak and coconut wood are used throughout the resort's 30 free standing suites. The bamboo frame roofs are thickly layered with alang alang grass thatching. |
